The Prince Sultan Water Specialist Event Participation Grant enables the participation of world-leading water scientists at conferences and as leaders of workshops and courses. It also enables distinguished water scientists from the developing world, and young researchers from all over the world, to attend conferences, seminars, workshops, and specialised courses.
The grant is offered in partnership with the organisation holding the event. The organisation chooses the recipient of its own accord, based on the following criteria:
- Suitability of the recipient to make a positive contribution to, or benefit from, the event
- The need of the recipient
- Innovative nature of the recipient’s water-related work
A book is published annually that showcases all grant recipients from prior years. The 2023 edition, which showcases all recipients from 2017 to 2023, can be downladed by right-clicking on the image to the left.
