On 25 June 2024, the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW) made its public announcement for the winners of its 11th Award at the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV).
The Council of the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW) met in Riyadh on Thursday, 6 June 2024 to deliberate on the recommendations of the international referees for its 11th Award (2024). Under the chairmanship of Dr. Badran Al-Omar, and under the direction of PSIPW President HRH Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Council approved the winners for the current award.
The Sixth Conference on the Use of Space Technology for Water Management was held in San José, Costa Rica, from 7-10 May 2024, hosted by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) on behalf of the Government of Costa Rica, and co-organised by UNOOSA, the Government of Costa Rica, and the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Interantional Prize for Water.
The Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water was the Platinum Sponsor for the 23rd European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry (EMEC22), an interdisciplinary conference that covers a broad range of topics within the field of environmental chemistry.
