The Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW) supported two plenary speakers and awarded three young researchers at the 25th European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry (EMEC25), an annual interdisciplinary conference that covers the latest research for a broad range of topics within the field of environmental chemistry.
PSIPW supported five researchers at the 12th European Conference on Pesticides and Related Organic Micropollutants in the Environment and the 18th Symposium on Chemistry and Fate of Modern Pesticides (PESTIPOLL2025), which took place in Almería, Spain, from 12th to 14th November 2025.
Qiuhua Liang, professor of water engineering at Loughborough University in the UK and fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, represented PSIPW as its party-level delegate to the 30th Conferences of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 30), which took place from 10 to 21 November 2025 in Belém, Brazil.
